What are the Toyota Aygo's common faults?

On the first generation, check the clutch, which wears quickly in town, and look for damp in the boot from the rear light and tailgate seals. The automated MMT and x-shift gearboxes change slowly and may need their clutch adjusted.

What replaced the Toyota Aygo?

The Aygo X, a small crossover on Toyota's own platform, replaced it in 2022. It is taller, comes with five doors only and no longer shares its body with Citroën or Peugeot.

How much IPT does a used Toyota Aygo pay?

Every Aygo has 53 kW or less, so it pays the flat IPT tariff of €150.81 before the province's surcharge. That makes it one of the cheapest cars to transfer in Italy.
