Petrol or hybrid: which used Toyota Yaris should I buy?

The hybrid uses noticeably less fuel in town and is the better buy for urban driving. A petrol Yaris costs less to buy and suits drivers who mostly cover open roads.

Is the Toyota Yaris 1.0 too slow?

The 1.0 three-cylinder, of around 70 hp, is fine in town but slow on motorways and with a full load. For regular motorway trips the 1.3 or 1.5 is more relaxed.

How much tax does a used GR Yaris pay?

On top of the bollo, the GR Yaris pays the superbollo, since both its 261 hp and later 280 hp versions exceed 185 kW. The surcharge drops to 60% five years after the car was built.
