Toyota Aygo or Yaris: which used small car is better?

The Aygo is a four-seat city car with a 1.0 three-cylinder, cheap to run and easy to park. The Yaris is a full five-seater with larger engines and a hybrid option, and copes better with the motorway.

Is the battery a worry on a used Toyota Yaris Hybrid?

Rarely: Toyota's hybrid batteries have a good record, and the e-CVT has no clutch to wear. Still ask for the service history and have the hybrid system checked at a Toyota workshop.

Do small Toyotas come with an automatic gearbox?

The Yaris Hybrid is always automatic, through its e-CVT. The Aygo offered automated manuals, MMT and later x-shift, which change slowly, while the Aygo X has a CVT.

Which new small Toyotas are sold in Italy?

The Yaris and the Aygo X are sold with hybrid or petrol engines depending on the version, and the Prius as a plug-in hybrid. Gearboxes are manual or automatic depending on the model.
