Question 1

Which engine is best on a used Volkswagen T-Roc?

Accepted Answer

The 150 hp 1.5 TSI is the most balanced petrol, shutting down two cylinders when cruising. The 2.0 TDI suits high mileage, while the 1.0 TSI is adequate mainly in town and on short trips.

Question 2

What changed with the 2022 Volkswagen T-Roc restyling?

Accepted Answer

Revised bumpers and lights and, above all, a new dashboard with softer materials and a freestanding touchscreen, answering criticism of the earlier hard plastics. A restyled car is worth the extra if cabin quality matters to you.

Question 3

Does the Volkswagen T-Roc R pay the superbollo?

Accepted Answer

Yes: its 300 hp 2.0 TSI is about 221 kW, so it pays €20 a year for each kW above 185, reduced as the car ages. No other T-Roc reaches the threshold.

Question 4

How much does a new Volkswagen T-Roc cost?

Accepted Answer

The new, second-generation T-Roc is hybrid only with DSG: the 1.5 eTSI mild hybrid, the 1.5 TSI Hybrid and the 2.0 eTSI 4Motion, in Life, Style and R-Line trims, plus the Cabrio. Each is at Volkswagen's list price beside the used cars.
