Question 1

Which generation of used Volvo XC60 should I buy?

Accepted Answer

The second generation, from 2017, is the more modern car and the only one with plug-in hybrids; its 2021 facelift added an infotainment system built on Google, with Google Maps. A first-generation XC60 costs less, but most are older diesels.

Question 2

Which engine is best on a used Volvo XC60?

Accepted Answer

For high mileage the D4 and the later B4 diesel are the economical choice. The T6 and T8 plug-ins suit drivers who can charge at home or work, and from the 2022 model year they got a larger battery and a longer electric range.

Question 3

Does a used Volvo XC60 pay the superbollo?

Accepted Answer

Only versions above 185 kW, about 252 cv, such as the petrol T6 of both generations. The 235 cv D5 and the 250 cv B5 stay under it, and the surcharge falls with the car's age and ends after twenty years.

Question 4

How much does a new Volvo XC60 cost?

Accepted Answer

The new XC60 is sold as the 250 cv B5 petrol mild hybrid and as the T6 and T8 plug-in hybrids with 357 and 461 cv, all with all-wheel drive and an automatic gearbox. Each version, from Core to Plus and Ultra, is listed at Volvo's official price.
